Hi everyone, Jamie’s mum- Victoria Martell and his close friends have written this message, thank you for reading.

As many of you know, Jamie is a talented professional skydiver, he has been skydiving for around 8 years, he has recently been living his dream life in Airlie Beach, Australia.

Every day, he shares his love of the sport with others as a skydiving instructor, helping people experience their very first jump and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Tragically, on Saturday 17th January, while Jamie was at work filming a skydive he was involved in a serious landing accident.

Jamie is currently in a medical coma and has suffered multiple broken bones including severe injuries to his pelvis.

He may possibly have some brain injury.

This has been an incredibly frightening time for everyone who loves him.

We are grateful that the doctors and nurses caring for Jamie have given positive indications that he can recover fully.

However, the road ahead will be long and challenging. Jamie is now facing an unimaginable long period of surgeries, intensive rehabilitation, and a painful recovery, along with significant medical and living expenses during this time.

Jamie’s mum and dad have flown from the UK to Australia to be by his side, and together with his friends, we are doing everything we can to support him through this journey.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden of his medical expenses and to support Jamie as he works toward rebuilding his life and future.
