Let's Help Jamie Lokan

Dear Friends of Jamie,

Life threw Jamie an unexpected curveball back in September. She has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and she has been undergoing treatment since October 2023. She received an auto stem cell transplant in March 2024 in Portland, Oregon. Currently she is still doing weekly treatments in Reno to keep the cancer at bay.

As you can imagine, navigating through such a difficult time comes with emotional and financial burdens. Jamie has remained positive and steadfast in her determination to overcome this obstacle. The financial strain of medical bills, travel expenses, other associated costs, and not being able to work while undergoing the recent treatment has added an extra layer of stress to her already challenging situation. Although insurance is hopefully going to cover the majority of her expenses, there are going to be substantial expenses that they will not cover. Jamie is back to work part time because Nevada does not offer any state disability.

I'm hoping we can all provide some financial relief and will also let Jamie know that she is surrounded by a community of people who are supporting her and letting her know that she is not alone in this fight.
