Jamie wasn’t just a team-mate to us.

Yes, he was a wonderful and relentless footballer and the 1st to have your back when things got heated, but more importantly he had our backs off the pitch.

He was the first one there when he recognised we were struggling and the least likely to likely to let us down when we needed a chat, a workout or even a bed.

Sadly that sense of struggle stemmed from his own battles and ultimately cost him his life on May 27 2026.

We will remember Jamie dearly and do what we can to support each other and learn from his struggles.

That starts with raising funds for his family during this terrible time, and to support mental health in our community.

A community that is so much richer for having Jamie in it than he was ever able to know.
