During a recent match, St Roch’s FC midfielder Jamie Hamilton suffered a devastating knee injury. Scans have confirmed a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament in his right knee — a serious setback that now threatens not only his season, but potentially his career. To give Jamie the best possible chance of recovery and a return to the game he loves, he urgently needs surgery and intensive physiotherapy. The total cost of this treatment is £8,893.00.
We have created this GoFundMe page to ask St Roch’s supporters, friends, and the wider football community to come together and help raise the funds Jamie desperately needs. Every day matters, and every contribution — no matter the size — brings him one step closer to the operation and rehabilitation that could change everything.
Jamie has dedicated years of his life to football, representing a number of Scottish clubs since starting his career at Aberdeen FC. Over the years, he has proudly worn the colours of Partick Thistle, Lesmahagow Juniors, Rutherglen Glencairn, Petershill, BSC, East Stirlingshire, Bo’ness United and now St Roch’s. Football has been a huge part of Jamie’s life, and this injury has put that future in real doubt.
Every donation will go directly towards Jamie’s surgery, rehabilitation, and recovery — giving him the chance to rebuild his strength, restore his confidence, and fight his way back onto the pitch. If you are able to help, please donate today and share this appeal with others who may be willing to support him.
At an incredibly difficult time, your kindness, generosity, and support mean more than words can say to Jamie and his family. They are deeply grateful for every message, every share, and every pound donated.
Thank you for standing with Jamie when he needs it most.
