This is my sister, Jamie. Many of you know her. She is that wild, free spirit that everyone loves to be around. She is that creative, hippy soul that is always looking for her next adventure. 

This past week she was in an accident in which she suffered an extremely severe crush injury to her ankle. It required a 3 hour surgery during which time the doctor had to piece back together the bones in her lower leg using plates, screws and pins. 

She is currently still in the hospital recovering enough to be sent home. But when she comes home, life for her is going to look very different - at least for 4 or 5 months. She isn't going to be able to weight bear. She isn't going to be able to take care of her animals and go out and tend to her flowers, chickens, dogs, lamb and vegetables like she normally would. Those of you who know Jamie - know this is going to eat away at her.

But, most importantly she isn't going to be able to work. She does delivery for a wholesale floral company. Her job requires lots of physical labor and driving a refrigerated truck. She isn't going to be able to do this. Unfortunately,  she will have ZERO income coming in. 

Those of you that know my sister, know her heart. You know how loving and caring she is. How she would help someone else if she could.

Her family (mom, father and I) are going to do what we can to help financially- but as you all know, 3 people who have their own bills can only do so much. So we are asking, from the bottom of our hearts - if you can help in anyway, please do. She is going to need it. I know my sister would never ask this - she would NEVER  ask anyone for help. So, I'm doing it for her....because she's going to need it. Unfortunately,  the three of us can't do it alone - as much as we wish we could.

I know this a tough time for everyone financially.  But, if you can find it in your hearts to help out in anyway, we would all be so grateful....and I know Jamie will appreciate it so much.
