Last week, a strong storm caused flooding and led to 4 feet of sewer water backing up into Jamie Briar's basement. In a matter of hours, Jamie lost everything in that space, including the washer, dryer, freezer, furnace, and air conditioner.

Along with those major household essentials, Jamie also lost precious family heirlooms and irreplaceable memories. On top of that, the damage is not covered by insurance because the policy does not cover sewer backup and flooding.
