Jamie Boudreau’s Recovery #jamiestrong
Jamie Boudreau is my sweet, loving and vivacious sister as well as wife to Jason and mom to 8 year old Quinn and 6 year old Corey.
On January 18, 2021, Jamie’s life was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.
Guillain-Barre Syndrome is a rare disorder in which your body’s immune system attacks your nerves. Jamie has a severe case which has caused chronic nerve pain and paralysis throughout her body and the inability to walk and have full function of her arms.
Jamie has been in the hospital for 4 weeks now and is on her 2nd round of treatment. Her medical team hopes after treatment and intensive rehabilitation that she will walk again in the next 4-6 months, but that it could take up to a year and a full recovery is not guaranteed.
The money would be used to help alleviate the unexpected medical expenses, lost wages and household expenses while Jamie and her husband are out of work focusing on her recovery.
The Boudreau Family would be super thankful and appreciative of any support received during this time.
