Unfortunately, during preseason, AFC Winkfield Club Captain Jamie Avis suffered an ACL rupture and a torn meniscus. This will keep him out for several months. He will require surgery to ensure a full recovery.

Jamie has been a key member since joining the Winkfield family. He has played 106 games, scored 7 goals and 4 assists and was promoted to Club Captain last season. He previously captained the Sunday team, leading them to win the Bracknell Sunday Division 1 23/24 and the Sunday Supplementary Cup last season.

Jamie is a loved and valued member of the club. We have set up this fundraising page for anyone who would like to contribute to his rehabilitation costs. Your support can also aid him in starting his coaching journey, as we aim to fund coaching courses he can complete while recovering.
