James Teare Family - Cancer Fight

DEAR FAMILY & FRIENDS:  Life kicks many of us around pretty good and thus it has been for sweet little James Teare (4 years of age) who is a member of my family. Because of the enormity of the costs for James’ treatment for his brain cancer, his family is experiencing severe financial stress. So here’s a a brief explanation. 2 years ago James was diagnosed with brain cancer. Since then he has undergone 11 surgeries as well as chemo therapy and radiation therapy. A couple of his surgeries were to try to fix the effects of the harsh chemo and radiation treatments to his face. James still has 2 more surgeries scheduled and possibly others unknown. At this point his family honestly feel like his time here on earth with them is limited but they are grateful for every day they get to keep him. They are all trying to spend as much time as possible with him. But their story gets worse. To add to this sweet family’s stress, Sam Teare (James’ dad) was FIRED because of the exceedingly great costs of James’ treatment to his employer. Now Justine Teare (my Aunt Ione’s Great Great Grand Daughter) has tried to keep some track of the costs to the insurance company and estimates that at least ½ million dollars has been spent thus far not including their deductible and costs. Therefore, they have tried to understand Sam’s employer’s point of view but still, it was a real kick in the teeth! So, Sam has had to up-route his family and move them from Arizona to Utah where he was able to secure employment but with a significant cut in pay. As you all know, even with what the insurance company pays, not only does the insurance not cover the deductible but they don’t cover any of the other costs such as gas for transportation, food, etc. which adds up pretty quickly and especially over a period of time (two years). So at this point the Teare family are thousands upon thousands of dollars in debt with no end in sight. Now Justine is having to find ALL new doctors in the Salt Lake, Utah area. Sam and Justine Teare with their little family of 5; James has 2 younger siblings, are living with Sam’s family until they can manage to afford a place to live. Friday 8.28.15 was a real bad day for James with new doctors and hospital staff that he did NOT know as well as new hospital surroundings. Further, this new team of doctors refused to use anesthesia to put him to sleep while they did testing and ran an MRI. So poor 4 year old James spent the morning crying for his Mom, which was hard for his Grandma, Ione Heine who is a 2nd cousin to me. Her heart was hurting so badly as the reports came in. She spent her day wearying the heavens with prayers as she had to be far away in Arizona.

So this fund has been set up to help the Teare family with their thousands of dollars of indebtedness.  Therefore, no amount is too small; nor any amount too big since they are so grossly in debt. Please help if you can!
