James’s fundraiser for the Cavernoma Society

Hi my name is James and I am raising money for the Cavernoma Society.

2020 was a bad year for most, but extra challenging for my partner who suffered multiple bleeds on the brain due to a benign tumour growth (more commonly known as a Cavernoma).

1 in 600 of us have a Cavernoma. Some of us have them with no symptoms, and whilst they can be harmless- they can also be fatal.

Fortunately for my partner and I, a small charity called the Cavernoma society were on hand to provide both support for Clare, and our family. Their help was priceless and if it wasn’t for their support, I feel we would be in a completely different situation to what we fortunately find ourselves in now.

I feel that I will always feel in debt to such a fantastic little charity, so I would like to give something back
