James River Crew

The James River High School Crew Team, from Midlothian, Virginia, is made up of over 90 student athletes from all four classes and includes both male and female rowers, Varsity and Novice rowers.

Crew is an exceptionally fulfilling and passionate sport, but also very costly.  Boats cost up to $40,000, and even one oar costs $350. Typical crew programs around Virginia and Nationally charge $1000 or more per year for participants. The James River team keeps fees for participants exceptionally low so that we can make the sport accessible to more students from different backgrounds, but we can use your help by donating to help us with equipment costs, race fees, travel expenses, and food tent costs.

The program is run entirely by volunteers, and 100% of contributions will be used for team expenses. We would be very grateful for your support and donations to help maintain this rowing program for many years to come. We sincerely appreciate your help and assistance.
