Our baby boy Jameson had a horrible drowning accident may 26th. He spent 6 weeks in the ICU and is now in a rehabilitation hospital in Orange, CA (5 hours from home). He has extensive brain damage, but with a treatment called hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) there's a chance that it can be reversed. Each treatment is $100 and he needs a minimum of 40, but insurance won't cover them. We will also have to pay for medical transportation to and from his treatments that will cost even more. I just moved with family to be a bit closer to him until we can bring him home, but my daily commute is still 3 hours to see him and I'll also be going home once a week to see his 2 older sisters and their daddy. As you can imagine this has been the toughest endeavor that our family should have never had to go through, but there is hope. The sooner he starts treatment the better his chances are for a recovery.
