I lost my leg and need a prosthetic

For those of you that don't know me. My name is James ferris  about 2 years ago I lost my leg above the knee in an accident. For the last 16 months I've been trying to get a prosthetic leg but insurance keeps denying me. My prosthesis and I have tried everything to get one    We've appealed the decision and  still nothing. We are all out of options. The leg that I have now doesn't fit  and is only good for a walk to the bathroom or kitchen. It digs into my groin ,  it gives me sores and cuts if I try to do anything with it.  It's horrible.   Im not looking for a leg that's gonna turn me into a super human , or make me run  100 mph or jump through the roof. I'm just trying to get a leg that will let me live a life as normal as possible.  I went from being an athletic non lazy person to someone that spends 80 % of his time in a wheelchair or crutches. I can't even look in the mirror anymore because it's too depressing to see what I'm becoming. Believe me. I'm doing the best I can. I want to get on a basketball team of all amputees called amp 1 (look them up to see what I'm talking about ). They travel the country and play ball against all able body players. They speak to children amputees ,adult amputees and anyone else who lost a limb that is having problems   They go to hospitals and speak to new amputees to try and lift their spirits. It's all for a good cause.  I'm trying to do things that an amputee has never done before. I want to help anyone who has been going through what I'm going through and fight for them because they're not able to. I'm not asking for a million dollars. I'm asking you to please donate whatever you can. I wasn't let you down.  It will be going for a great cause.  I'm swallowing my pride and asking you to donate anything you can. I promise you I will fight until I can't fight anymore. So please help for this cause.  Thank you so much for your help
