Hi Friends and Family,
As many of you know, I am currently working on my Eagle Scout Project that consists of planting 5 to 7 Oak trees in the backyard of Black Hawk Middle School, my old middle school.
Currently, the back field is barren, sun dry and there is no shade at all for students to sit under when the weather gets warmer, and I would also like to add to the visual appeal of the field. To do that, I need the help of donations, and thats where I welcome you to my GoFundMe page.
So far, I only have two trees donated and would like to purchase four more. The trees I would be purchasing are around $250 to 300 a tree which would buy a roughly 10 foot tree with a 1-2 inch circumference.
My goal is to raise all of my funds by the end of the summer months in time for fall tree planting season. My tentative project work date is September 13th.
In addition to the trees, with remaining funds or a donation I would like to install a small plaque in the ground near one of the trees that would show the planting date and state it was an Eagle scout project. As well as recognize the groups or individuals that donated to the project.
