The Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike For Macmillan CS
It is not until you come face to face with some kind of cancer diagnosis that you REALLY understand just how amazing Macmillan Cancer Support is. I don't think I know anyone who hasn't somehow been touched by cancer at some point in their lives and this includes myself and my family but equally many will also know what a PHENOMENAL job Macmillan Cancer Support does in helping people prepare and cope with the diagnosis, treatment and living with cancer. In my direct experience, they are heroes and hugely deserving of our support.
So, on the 15th June 2019, some amazing and wondrous friends and I will be taking part in the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. All of us have experience of the quietly magnificent help that Macmillan provides and we are keen to "give back" where we can.
The Mighty Hike is a 26-mile hike from Weymouth to Wareham in Dorset along the challenging but magnificent Jurassic Coast, England’s first natural World Heritage Site. There will also be a "support team" of more incredible chums along the way cheering us on and propping us up! Their support and kindness is the stuff of legend; as are their G&T making abilities!
We'd love it if you were able to join us in making a difference. Any donation - no matter what the amount - makes a direct and positive impact and my teammates and I want to thank you amazing people in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us all because Macmillan really is on the front line and "Right There With You". PS! Don't forget to tick the "Gift Aid" box - it makes a massive difference!
