Everyone who knew James Wu knew what a huge spirit and what boundless generosity he had. His sudden and tragic death leaves a hole in all of our lives that will be impossible to fill.

This GoFundMe is to help Rebecca with the realities of moving on without James. As James was the principal breadwinner in their home she needs help with making ends meet (rent, food, etc.) during the pandemic as well as finding her footing.

We are hoping to help her through this difficult time by giving her some breathing space to take care of things and decide her next life steps, in honor of James’s huge love for her.

James had 5000 friends on Facebook and many friends in real life as well. If everyone donates just the cost of a book or a movie ticket or a DVD--the cost of one of those little bits of entertainment James loved so much and shared so enthusiastically – – we can create a nest egg to help Rebecca.

We are doing this because we know it's what James would have wanted.
