James Wharton

James Wharton Sr. suffered from a major stroke on March 7, 2017. He was brought to Regina by ambulance from Fort Qu'Appelle, then rushed to Saskatoon University Hospital for surgery via ambulance. Due to the blizzard, he was unable to be transported by the Stars helicopter. The next day he then had another ambulance ride from Saskatoon to Regina. Being that he is self employed without medical benefits, all help would be greatly appreciated, as funds would go towards his ambulance bills. He is still in hospital and is very slowly but continually improving. At this point we are still unsure of where things will go from here. The only thing we do know is that they are hoping he will eventually be transferred to the Wascana Rehab Centre.
