Our friend James Turcotte passed away this last week, he was a very important person in our lives, and I know for many others as well. He had a hard start to life, and made some bad choices, but eventually began to be the man he always knew he was inside. He lived the last few years with his head held high, working with others, mentoring those who had been down some of the same roads he had gone, and spending loving, quality time with his daughter, Emery He went to 2nd Stage Housing including (Life Skills), managed to help with the mentoring of men in the house. And 3 years ago moved into Supportive Housing with 5 other men.
His passing was sudden, and his immediate family has no financial ability to help with his service, cremation, and the support of Emery, his very young daughter . We loved James, and would like to help his family with this service. If you feel you can help even in the smallest amount, we, and his family would be so very grateful. Thank you for this and we will let people know on Facebook when his celebration of life will be and where. I believe it will be at our house in Mission.
We need funds as soon as possible, if you can and Barb Dickson will ensure the funds go for funeral expenses and support of Emery.
