Hello, friends.

Our father, James, recently passed from complications with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) on December 1st, 2022.

He leaves behind his sister, Robin; his children, Caleb, Jessica, along with twins Genna and Kevin; and his grand-daughter, Harper.

He had a warrior's spirit but lived guided by the kindness in his soul. Outliving a prognosis by nearly ten years, every additional day was a gift.

He was a musician whose energy was contagious. On or off the stage, he touched the lives of all those he knew. One could feel the passion from his keyboard just as well as the passion from his heart.

I feel incredibly lucky to have a father whom exuded nothing but pure love and respect for all people. Those values that have been instilled into us are priceless.

As such, our family wishes to honor the best man we knew in the best way we are able and are unprepared for the sudden costs, so we are reaching out to you all for help.

Your contributions will help with the cost of cremation and a basic memorial service. I may adjust the goal as needed, depending on costs. It is our promise that any funds that exceed our accrued costs will be donated to COPDFoundation - a not-for-profit charity which aids in COPD research and support for patients living with COPD.
