My original note spoke of the fact that I was diagnosed with Melanoma with possible underlying Lymes Disease. I requested help to receive treatment outside the states to the Hope4Cancer Institute in Mexico and, thanks to your help, was able to pursue this treatment.
A lot has happened since my treatment earlier this year.
On March 19th, I was admitted into Hoag Hospital for a full diagnosis of my condition. The results were not good. I have stage 4 cancer. The melanoma has spread to many of my vital organs (stomach, pancreas, lungs, liver…), to my bones (spine, hips, ribs…) and to my lymph nodes. I had surgery to support my liver draining more effectively, since I had severe jaundice, which restored my skin to its’ normal color and continues to support the evacuation of toxins from my liver.
I returned home after a week at Hoag and am currently getting nursing and home care, until we figure out my longer term prognosis and options.
I am going to keep up the fight and am looking at my journey as an Endurance Race / Event of staying steady walking w/ my Heavenly Father step by step, minute by minute ...and day by day.
By nature I am not very good at asking for outside assistance but after continued praying on it and continued council with my inner circle it was suggested by many others I establish a Go Fund Me platform to request assistance.
Some of you may be wondering how you can help. Here are some concrete ways:
1) Friends and family have helped set up a rotation for meals and visits. I love visitors and need help with meals. To schedule a visit or help with meals, please text Teri Wells at 9492466024.

You can pray for me and my family, for my health, my spirits, for the wisdom of the doctors who are treathing me
3) I still have major medical bills ($50,000 from Hope4Cancer, Hoag Hospital and ongoing home care and medicine) to cover and need financial support to meet my basic living needs, as I am not drawing any income at this time.
