James Silva was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer 2 years ago.
James is an amazing father of two young boys and a great partner to his loving wife, Katie. He has undergone treatments, some of which are not covered by OHIP that are expensive and/or experimental.
Katie Silva is our lovely colleague in the NICU at Grand River Hospital and she is continuing to work full time taking care of medically fragile babies even though James is now at the point where where he is requiring more medical intervention and significantly more care. We are raising money so that Katie can take time off work to be with James and her boys during this critical time.
