James Shank Medical Fundraiser

On Saturday, May 6, 2017, James Shank was in a dirt bike accident. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Pueblo, about an hour south of where he and his family live. The doctors told him that he has a fracture at the base of his skull, fractured vertebrae in the neck and significant road rash and bruising.

Do you remember that teacher who made a difference in High School? Who cared about you as a person? That genuinely enjoyed his students and got to know them? That is James Shank. James is a beloved Bible teacher at Colorado Springs Christian High School. He fully invests in his students and they love him. James is the kind of teacher who joyfully greets his students by name as he walks down the halls of the school. His character and loyalty makes these kids better people. James is also the mens and womens golf coach at the school and a very involved member of Pulpit Rock Church.  We all know being a teacher doesn't monetarily provide much. James has 4 children and a beautiful wife, Beth. He is the sole support for his family.

We want to help them out, even a little, as James faces months of recovery and will be out of work. We all know insurance comes with big deductibles these days. If you can provide any kind of donation, big or small, it will help. And I know that he and his family would be extremely grateful!
