Thank you to everyone who attended Jim's Celebration of Life and Memorial Service. It's comforting to know how much Jim was loved and respected.
I have received several inquiries regarding money raised via the various sources. We thank everyone who generously donated. It is very much appreciated. However, even with all the donations, Jim's daughter used approximately $3,000 from her college fund to pay for her father's services and final resting place. She is now saving money to go towards his headstone.

The passing of James "Jim" Scott
James "Jim" Scott passed away unexpectedly this week. Leaving behind a 15 year old son, and two daughters ages 19 and 22, who he loved dearly and unconditionally. His passing left his entire family in shock, mourning a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Unfortunately, his children learned of their father's untimely death on December 23rd, so instead of celebrating Christmas with their father they are in mourning, planning their father's funeral. Many ask what they can do to help when a family loses a loved one. The help that is really needed at this time is cash donations to help his children pay for their father's funeral expenses. We all know how quickly burial expenses accumulate and any help provided towards these expenses are greatly appreciated. Jim was a 1982 Del Campo High School graduate, and resident of Fair Oaks for most of his life. As an adult he played on various baseball teams in Sacramento, including the Giants with his brother Mike. He is survived by his Children, Taylor, Elizabeth, and James; Mother Anita; Sisters Joan and Sue; Brothers George, Michael and Steven; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
