Welcome to my biggest challenge yet.
Hi my name is James and as many of you all know, I have a massive love for anything motorcycles. Fixing, servicing, racing and ridding but now I am looking for the next milestone in my career.
The bike you see pictured before you was purchased with the intention of restoring it back to its original glory but with a catch, I want to modify it and achieve a 200mph speed run on a road legal 90’s Kawasaki ZZR1100.
Work has already been started over the last 3 weeks on the bike with planning and many long days and nights of putting together a workable and detailed idea which will make this possible.
To cut a long story short, the engine will not be modified any bigger than its original 1052cc keeping the engine stock, it’s currently being serviced and checked by Mansfield engines and will be rebuilt with new internals keeping it’s originality but giving the engine the best chance.
As for everything else, it will be modified with the best performance parts and modifications to achieve 200mph, it will be a push but with the right parts it will be achievable. This bike will be having everything done including drag tyres, carburettor modifications, suspension, cooling, high performance chain and sprocket kits and so much more.
I would never normally ask for help but without your support it will be harder to achieve. We have already secured sponsorships from leading motorcycle suppliers who will be sponsoring us parts and equipment needed to complete this challenge.
This is where you all come in to this, I am asking for sponsorships from all of you to aid in this project towards purchasing performance upgrades, dyno testing and equipment needed to complete this project.
Please also note that this will be done officially and done legally with timed and speed slips, We will be attending next year straighteners top speed event at elvington airfield to do this challenge with dates to yet be confirmed but is open to everyone to come and watch as well.
I have never push myself to do something as fast as this but I believe in a life where you should chase your goals and challenge yourself harder.
This is James Scott and we will do this.
Thank you for your support.
