James Schmidt Accident Fund

James Schmidt of Three Lakes was involved in a terrible snowmobile accident on Saturday Feb 29, 2020 and had to be flown to Wausau Aspirus Hospital. He was immediately sent into surgery having a portion of his right leg amputated due to the extensive injuries he endured from the accident. He has since had another surgery to the leg and will require at least one more this week. Once he is released he will have a long road of recovery ahead of him.

While he has health insurance, it will not cover the loss of income from his business due to not being able to work and run his business for an unknown time frame.

Lisa, his wife, while working full time, will be his primary care taker during his recovery. We, as Jim and Lisa’s family, friends and community have decided to set up this fundraiser for them to help ease some of the stress of the financial unknowns.
