James Russell May, "Rusty" in ICU
Rusty and Linda Need Your Help!
On Wednesday, Feb. 12, Louisville artist James Russell May “Rusty,” choked on a vitamin, lost consciousness, and his heart stopped. Luckily his wife, Linda Erzinger, was there to call 911. EMS revived him and he is now in the ICU. Against all odds, he is starting to wake up but it could be several days before we know the extent of the damage.
If you're able, please donate to help with costs associated with this. We still don’t know how long he’ll be in the ICU before they can move him to a med-surg unit and then a rehab facility. He’s currently undergoing tests and in the care of multiple doctors and neurologists.
We'd also like to invite you to a Fundraiser/Art Exhibit:
Thursday, February 27, 2020
Art Sanctuary (1433 S. Shelby St.)
Rusty's artwork will be hanging and for sale.
We'll keep you posted on this and on his condition as he progresses. And please forward this request – the further the reach, the more help we can provide.
