Mark Spain (aka Spainy) and Ross Mayer here.....

 

It brings us with great sadness to sit here to have to bring this very sad news.. For a man that was VERY MUCH loved by all!!!

 

Larger than life character.... The biggest... most loving... caring... sharing... sarcastic... friend... family member... Dad.... Grandad and few times ex lover!! xx

 

Jimmy arrived back here in Spain to his second home (1st home in Jimmy and our heads) on Friday 18th February... Picked up by his wing man the spanyard ready to party for Mark Spains 60th!!

 

Those that have been lucky enough to have the pleasure to know him would know how much Jimmy loved his new life in the sun and was where his heart and soul wanted to be... (in the shithole..... Jimmy's words... aka Spainy's terrace..)

 

On Saturday for Spainy's birthday... He started the day just as he loved.... Full English Breakfast and a Guinness... Starting the day as he meant to go on!! We had the greatest evening together bringing in Spainy into his OAP lifestyle.... hahahaha....

 

On the Sunday... We all met back together to watch as I'm sure you would know... Jimmy loved the football and was a huge dedicated supporter of Leicester City!!!! Unfortunately.... They did loose....

 

Sunday evening Mark and Jimmy sat alone on the terrace... and Jimmy expressed what a wonderful weekend he'd had... Spending time back in the sun with his Spanish hombres....

 

At 12pm this afternoon (21st February 2022) it was with huge heartache that Mark found Jimmy laying in bed still... phone in hand... lasts nights dinner leftovers on the side.... and his lovely new teeth in a cup!!!

 

Today has been one of the hardest days for both myself and Spainy to get through but have also both... Laughed... Cried... Cuddled.... in-between trying to "sort Jimmy out".... (Always the last to leave)

 

A huge thanks to Jimmy's immediate family for giving us the go ahead to get this page together and organise the best send off we can give him in the place he loved...

 

Unfortunately neither Jimmy or ourselves have the funds together to get everything in place...

 

We have managed get Jimmy into the right place today... however things move very fast over here in Spain...

 

We are looking at Jimmy being cremated here.... and having a service possibly estimated as quickly here in Spain on Monday 28th February.. (however this is to be confirmed shortly)

 

We ask out of the generosity of your hearts that anybody that is able and in a position to help with finance for this no matter however big or small... Every penny will help!!!
