I am 63 years old.
I come to you my friends, with a heavy heart to ask for help.
On June 14th, I was in a terrible car accident. Another driver ran a red light and slammed into the driver's side of my car. I was what they call, T-boned. The other driver was fine, but I sustained injuries. I have whiplash, a possible spine injury that may require surgery ,a sprained wrist, and a sprained foot from being thrown in the car. After tests at the hospital and a MRI from my orthopedist, I was told that I have soft tissue damage in my neck and shoulders. I am being referred to a neurosurgeon. Our car was totaled. Our car was the only one my retired wife (she is also disabled), and I owned. The car was old, so the insurance settlement wasn't much to replace it. They only rented us a car for 4 days. That's all.
We are not wealthy, nor do we have savings enough for a car. The settlement we did get we used for a rental or Ubers to get us to and from doctor appointments, medical tests, physical therapy twice a week, and anv other necessary appointments. We are asking for help so we can purchase a car to just get us where we need to go. We have exhausted all other options. The stress has been affecting our health. My wife suffers from anxiety and has panic attacks. We appreciate your help. Anything will help. God bless you. Please pray for us. Thank you.
