James Paul Tafoya

I am reaching out to friends, family and the many community members in Crested Butte & Maui , that knew and loved James Tafoya.

James most recently lived in Crested Butte South and is survived by his wife Regina, her children and a grandchild, his parents and many relatives in Pueblo, Co. where he is from. He worked tirelessly to provide for their family and took pride in being the primary wage earner. James & Regina had started to rebuild their lives after a fire took their home in 2020 but the severity of trauma has now been compounded with the passing of James and we need your help for the many expenses that will soon pile up. Insurance will cover some things but claims take time and financial assistance is urgent in order for Regina & her family to lay their loved one to rest and sustain their life in Colorado. Donations will cover things such as funeral costs, family counseling, rent, & debt. Any donation large or small is appreciated.
