James Needs a Home After Tragic Incident

My name is James Schaan. I was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota. My grandfather was the electric Sheriff, Sheriff Gordon Taylor. My family has all been born in North Dakota. Last weekend, I opened my door and a man ran into my house and tried to hold me and the neighbor's minor nephew hostage. I was able to get us both out of the home, but afterwards, the police department completely destroyed my house to get this man out. His warrants were only for forgery and a probation violation. I gave them the keys to the front door so they could unlock it and go through the front door like they said they would. Instead, they destroyed my home. They also told me that they wouldn't leave it unlocked, that they would seal it and make sure no one could get in. Well, they cut a giant hole in the side of the wall and smashed out all of my windows. Then they left the house unsecured for the last 5 days, and the entire neighborhood and every crackhead in Fargo has gone through my home and taken whatever they wished. Upon returning to my home for the first time, I called 911 because somebody came walking out of my apartment. I called 911 to report that I had an intruder in my home. I was waiting for WDAY news to show up to film the story. After filming the story and talking to the news people for a couple of hours, the police had still failed to show up for my 911 call. Long story short, I have lost any and everything I had. I don't even have a pair of shoes. I have no place to live. My landlords are on vacation until the end of July. My rent has been paid ahead, and I have already paid into October of this year. I cannot get any of that back, they say. So, I'm begging for some help. I don't have much left in me after this experience. I'm staying in a hotel currently, and on Monday, I will not have money for a hotel any longer. I don't know what to do. I don't have any family except for a sister and a brother, and they do not have the financial means to help. I worked my butt off to get to where I was, and though my house may not have been the Ritz Carlton, it was mine. It was paid for, and it was clean and safe. Well, maybe not safe, but it was cool. I really need some help. If you need to personally contact me, my telephone number is [phone redacted]. Anything will help, and thank you.
