Help for James' Mom & Dad, Grandma, & Uncle's Funeral cost

Dear Friends and Community,

On behalf of our friend, we humbly seek your help in prayer for the family of our colleague, James Pooten III.

Last week, James' parents traveled from the Philippines to visit Canada. They were joyfully exploring Banff with James and other relatives in Alberta, eagerly anticipating a family reunion. James was excited to show his parents around Alberta, but tragically, their plans were abruptly cut short.

On Friday, July 26, James’ parents, grandmother, and uncle were involved in a fatal collision on their way to Drumheller, resulting in the loss of these four cherished family members. The suddenness of this tragedy has left everyone in shock and disbelief.

James Pooten Jr. (James' father) was the former Mayor of Sagada, well loved by his community and his leadership. Cymbeline Joan Pooten (Mother) was a the department head nurse of Pediatrics in St. Lukes Medical Center of QC for over 30 years. Involved is Arlene Padalla (Grandmother) along with Jakob Padalla (Uncle)

In light of this unexpected and devastating event, we are reaching out to ask for your support in raising funds for the family. Any amount you can contribute will be deeply appreciated. The family does not want to burden anyone and if unable, your prayers are more than enough.
