Hello, my name Jason Rogers. I'm reaching out for help and swallowing my pride because I lack the ability to seek help when I need it the most. On Sunday, January 23, 2022, I received some of the worst news of my life. I was informed that my brother and best friend, James Michael Rogers III, had passed away unexpectedly. I'm really lost for words right now and, I don't even know the first thing about planning a funeral. I've never had to do this for anyone and, I certainly didn't think that I would have to lay my brother to rest. I'm devastated by this news and, I'm sure that I am not the only one. I know that James has made such an impact on so many people during his brief time here. Despite battling his demons, my brother always managed to make everyone around him feel loved, happy, and entertained. James was always the life of the party and would do anything to make others laugh and bring happiness to them. He will be missed so much by family, friends, and myself. My cousin Kristen and I will be planning James' funeral arrangements and his memorial. His memorial service will be determined at a later date.
