James Meyers

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of, James L. Meyers Jr. James was a loved father, Chicago native and hands down the best grill master in the family- transitioned on April 21, 2020. His love for people and community was exhibited throughout his life as a high school football and wrestling athlete, jazz band musician and proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. Enjoying a lifelong career as a salesman, James showed up for people with care and compassion as if they were his own family. Today, we celebrate his life. James was a spark of joy in this world and will be deeply missed. He touched the lives of so many and it’s our turn to give back to his family in their time of need. We are raising money for his family as this passing was completely unexpected.
