James McLernon Needs Help!

James McLernon is a talented hair stylist and colorist trained by
Vidal Sassoon and a past member of Sassoon’s creative team who taught students in the techniques of the master.

James has had a string of tragedies beginning with the death of his beloved daughter, Kate, three years ago. Following her death James was consumed with such unbearable grief that things fell apart abetted by tenants that failed to pay their rent and then left him with a considerable amount of damage to his property. Unable to make the mortgage his property went into foreclosure. Things went from bad to worse this past November when James went in for an exploratory procedure for bladder cancer and a stent which ended up with sepsis in hospital for a week and almost died. He closed up his salon in Westchester and has been scraping by with his Social Security check and the occasional haircut and color for clients. In the meantime, his car was repossessed and last week the sheriff came and locked up the house and studio and James is out and in temporary housing.


James is in need of funds for a new beginning. Any funds donated to him will be used exclusively for a car so that he can begin working again and for a deposit on housing. He has some income from Social Security so he will be able to maintain his life once he can get back in action.
