James Lucero Funeral Fund and Parkinsons Awareness
Donation protected
Hi my name is Monica Dgezits. I am the daughter of James Lucero. My dad was always full of wisdom. He had a kind heart and fiercely loved his family. When mom passed away 17 years ago dad was devastated. He wanted to be with her and because of his grief, he had a heartattack. Fortunately, for us, it was not his time. But it was time for me to start keeping a more watchful eye on him. Shortly after, he was diagnosed with Parkinsons. My brother James and I have been his primary caregivers ever since. Parkinsons is really hard to watch. Watching your hero wither away to nothing , as you watch his mind deteriorates extremely difficult. It was a struggle and a battle everyday to accomplish even the smallest of tasks. Caring for your loved one is a wonderful gesture but it is hard work and there's no money in it. I am relieved he passed away at home with his loved ones and am even more happy he is in heaven dancing with mom. Since covid we have been in a holding pattern and we weren't prepared for the sudden passing of our father. It was sudden because Dad still had the fifth and final stage to go through. God had other plans. So if you could,
Please assist us in giving my father the send-off he so deeply deserves. He was a good man and he will surely be missed. The service is on September 17th and 18th I will be forwarding the details to everyone. Any donations will help and is deeply appreciated. My brother and I thank you from the bottom of our heart<3
