Hello friends and family. On June 5, 2018 my son James was admitted to the hospital with kidney failure. James was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of thirteen. After twenty years of battling diabetes, countless seizures and being insulin dependent his body is deteriorating. As a result of kidney failure James is now on dialysis treatment three times a week for several hours at a time. Dialysis treatments are very harsh on the body and at times extremely painful. Medically, James will not be able to return to work on a full time basis if at all. We are exploring all options at this time including short and long term disability as means of support. As many of you may know the application process for these benefits are often very lengthy, stressful and complicated. James has immediate financial needs on my own I cannot meet but with each and every one of you at my side, standing with me, I have faith together we can make a difference and have a lasting impact in James’ life. I implore you to please look into your heart and help my son in however way you’re compelled to. Please, no amount is too small, God is able to do immeasurably more than all I can ask, hope or imagine. Be assured, I will personally be in charge of appropriating all contributions received. Donations will go towards securing his housing and medical expenses. More importantly, please pray that God will move powerfully in James’s life spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally.
