Hi. My name is Carol Meade and I was a friend of Jim King for almost 20 years. Jim abruptly passed from this world to the next on Friday, June 25, 2021. This was quite abrupt to us, but we know not a shock to God.

He is now out of pain and with his Lord, who he served well and with immense valor. Jim was a good man. He lived in integrity, humor, and grace.

This fundraiser is simply to help with the funeral costs. The memorial tribute service for James King will be held on Saturday, July 17th, at 1:00 pm at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship Chapel. I am posting this fundraiser to serve this family and my dear friend, Kathy King, Jim's precious wife of over 40 years. Kathy kept saying that she is "not destitute", and didn't want to impose on anyone. However, I thought some who read this may want to simply give to honor Jim and show love to Kathy. There is no obligation. Only follow your heart. I ask you most of all to give prayers---to comfort this dear family through your prayers as they navigate this time of immense loss and sorrow.
