Helping Jeramie with Funeral Expenses

Hi, my name is Amanda Tapscott, and I am fundraising on behalf of my boyfriend, Jeramie Killingsworth, to assist with the cost of cremation for his father, James Killingsworth. James grew up in Frederick, MD and worked as a stone mason for most of his life. He was diagnosed with cancer roughly two years ago at the age of 56 and put up a great fight through chemotherapy. James moved into our home to begin hospice care at the end of July 2023 and passed away peacefully in the early morning of August 17. James expressed a desire to be cremated, which will cost a couple thousand dollars. He does not have many assets, and Jeramie and I are worried that we may struggle to afford the afterlife care he deserves. We are asking anyone who may have known and loved James, or anyone willing and able, to consider donating toward his cremation cost. We cannot express how grateful we are to have gotten so much support from friends, loved ones, and Frederick Hospice over the past few weeks -- thank you, thank you, thank you.
