James' Journey Movember

Our Movember campaign kicks off again with a larger team that last year, hoping to grow into something bigger! I’m sure by now, most of you all have noticed what our mustaches stand for. It’s different from wearing a t-shirt, a hat, a bracelet - and while those are all still incredible efforts, these guys are all doing much more than that. They’ve all made a commitment by wearing something that they CAN’T take off - and they’re wearing it smack bang in the middle of their face for an entire month.
Throughout the hundreds of conversations we’ve had in past years, we started to notice that we’ve been exercising pure symbolism of what people should be doing to others that may be struggling from Mental Health - acknowledging. All month long we had friends, family, randoms coming up to us and saying “nice mustache.” We noticed that it was the epitome of ‘acknowledging’ something that seems different about you… We thought, “if it’s that easy to notice a small change on a person’s face such as a mustache, then it should also be programmed in people’s minds to notice when someone has sadness in their eyes” - and that is what we are growing a mustache for! It’s important to notice things, to acknowledge things, to check up on people, to ask questions, to help people - no matter how healthy/happy that person (or mustache) may look.
We cannot begin to show our gratitude for all of your continuous love and support in past years. Help us continue to convey our message and have a phenomenal Movember this year!
We love you, James.
“Do what you love.”
