Hi I’m Cassie, Jim’s daughter and I’m hoping to raise money towards dad’s funeral and wake. I’d also like to donate a bench to Chingford Cricket Club (Dads favourite place) in dad’s memory.
Any help towards Dads last send off would be greatly appreciated.
Father, Son, Brother, uncle, grandad, Blood Brothers, Friend, Samaritan, Roadie, lead vocalist, groundsman, artist, songwriter, Storyteller, speedway racer, Amless Wanderers Chairman, crane driver, sound engineer, fireworks director, Arsenal Supporter and beer and Scotch expert.
Dad wore so many hats in his lifetime and the memories he left us with are happy and full of love. He was the sort of person that would be able to connect with you no matter your mood or circumstances. His fast wit and sense of humour could turn low moods into hours of belly rolling laughs. His flare for telling stories would capture the imagination no matter the audience and as his favourite saying goes”Never let the truth get in the way of a good story “ He was by far the biggest character I’ve ever known and he hole that’s left now he’s gone is immense.
to borrow a phrase that’s been used often to describe him. He Is, Was and always will be a “Legend “..,
