James Infalt Needs Your Help After Severe Injury

My son James Infalt is a hard working single father struggling to raise a daughter. It is very hard for me or my son James to ask for help. James truck slid off the road due to ice on the road on Dec. 21st going down a steep embankment and crashing into a berm sending it air born for 20 feet. He was in very bad pain and went to the ER where they did not take his injury seriously and sent him home with muscle relaxers and pain meds. But the pain just kept getting worse until February 24th when a movement made the pain unbearable and he was taken to the ER.

An Xray confirmed he had been walking around with a broken back, his T12 was cracked. They put him in a brace and sent him to see a surgeon. Last week the surgeon looked at him and said it was much worse than originally thought. Ligaments on both sides of the spine were torn 1/2 way thru and they needed to do surgery right away.

He had 4 vertebra fused, had 8 screws, 2 rods, and a plate added to the inside of his back. He has a long road to recovery, will be out of work for at least 3 more months (if everything goes smooth) and he was already strapped and struggling before this happened. James is a great kid who helps everyone, and anyone who asks, and always with a smile. 1st thing he said to me after surgery is "Im going to fight Dad, Im going to beat this!" We are all hurting in this economy, any help is much appreciated, and if you can't, we understand, but please keep James in your prayers. He don't deserve this.

It’s been a week and half since James had his emergency back surgery on 3.6.2025. He stayed overnight and was released from hospital later the day on Friday 3.7.2025

James is slowly recovering. He is able to walk with aid of either a walker or canes. He’s also been getting himself up from a laying position with little to no help.

He cannot sit on a couch or plush chair. He has to sit on something firmer.

He does not see the doctor until 3.31.2025. At which time, it’s suspected he will learn what days he goes for P.T.
