James Hodo has spent 40 years in prison and was found suitable for parole in October. He has spent his years in prison dedicated to programming, his sobriety, and got his GED in 2014 (as pictured above). James is returning to Los Angeles, where he has no living family or friends. He is looking forward to joining some faith communities, continuing to attend programs, and maybe getting a little beach time in.
James knows the many challenges he will face as a 73-year-old wheelchair user. He is looking for support from the community to help provide him with some money to help him readjust to the outside world for necessities like a phone, wardrobe, toiletries, and other household goods.
We are so grateful for your support in helping James get on his feet. Let's give him a warm welcome home!
