On Monday, August 11th, our loved Father and Friend, James Han, had surgery to repair nerve damage. It was supposed to be a routine surgery that lasted a few hours with a same day recovery. However, immediately after the surgery, James suffered a Widowmaker heart attack, one of the deadliest kinds, and went into full cardiac arrest, almost losing his life. Since then, he remains in a coma, and on life support. The doctors have been continuing to make efforts to save his life. They are currently seeking a heart transplant for him, if he is physically able to get the transplant.

There is still a lot of uncertainty at this moment and moving forward. Due to a decade of struggling with health issues and having a lot of other financial obligations that he constantly had to tend to, James lacked the medical care necessary to maintain his health. Had we known more, we would have gotten him the medical care that he needed, but we are in a situation where he is in a life or death situation.
