On Sunday, December 12th, we lost James to Covid-19.
James was a loving father of six, a man who did not know a stranger and a protector of all those he loved. An avid fisherman and pool player, he achieved his personal goal of playing in the world pool tournament in 2021. He coached youth football and was a mentor to kids.
James loved Michael Jordan shoes and devoted his time in church as a fishing instructor for the youth.
Renee fondly describes James, "He was well known for having a loud boisterous laugh, contagious smile and could give the biggest bear hugs. He's been my rock, my safe place to go to, and my heart."

For us here at work, James was a guy who never had a negative thing to say, the patience of a saint, and made it a point to ask us how we (and our families) were doing before getting to the other side of the conversation. A true family man in the way he treated others as well as his own.
To say his passing was a surprise would be an understatement for all of us here at Quest Software, and for those of us who have lost loved ones from Covid-19, we are all too familiar with the pain of these losses.
We ask that you donate from your heart as we raise funds for James' family during this time of upheaval.
James' obituary can be found here along with a link for his livestreamed service on Friday, December 17th.
