Wow !!!!!

Hi my name is Maryjane and I’m fundraising for James Goodsell. James was born with Dwarfism. There are 200 different types of Dwarfism. James has Achondroplasia, the most common type. Achondroplasia is a genetic condition that affects about 1 in 15,000 to 1 in 40,000 people. It makes your arms and legs short in comparison to your head and trunk. You may also have a larger head and weak muscle tone.
James can do everything we can do just in a different way. He’s just small that's all.❤
James love sport and this year started playing Football for Across The Waves in under 12s and now in off season he is competing in futsal.
In August James participated in the Athletics Carnival representing Moore Park Beach state school in the Multi Class section at St Luke’s. James was brilliant coming away with 1st in 12yo 100m, long jump at 1.67m, Discus at 8.5m and 2nd in shot put at 3.9m.
James went on to represent Bundaberg in the Wide Bay Athletics later in August where he came away with
1st in 100m, Discus, long jump and shot put.
Then represented Wide Bay at State Championships in Brisbane at the beginning of October.
James is now off to Sydney in November- December for the School Sports Australia 10-19 years Track and Field National Championships. He will compete in 100m.
James parents have always told James he can do anything just like every other child. Unfortunately the cost of living plays a big part in what we can and cannot do these days. I created this Gofundme page to help ease the financial burden this will assist with a uniform, fees and travel expenses for the Goodsell family so James can still have the opportunity to see how far he can go.
