Brain Tumour Research
Donation protected

Hi my name is Lisa and I’m helping my son Matthew raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
This is after our friends son was taken ill.
Earlier this year, James headed to Prague as a fit and healthy young man aged 36yrs to take part in the marathon.
James completed the marathon but then collapsed.
It transpired that James had a 10cm undiagnosed brain tumour.
James underwent emergency, life changing surgery in hospital in Prague to reduce the pressure on his skull and stabilise his health so that he could be medically transported back to the UK.
He’s now at Preston Hospital.
James has since undergone major surgery to remove the tumour and then to replace the part of the skull that was removed.
the lasting damage to his brain and eyesight are non recoverable and James’ life has been changed forever.
The long term prospects are still unknown and his future is uncertain.
What we do know is that he will never be able to live without full support again.
This is why we are trying to raise money for the charity as it affects so many young people and can come on from nowhere!
So, Matthew is abseiling down Liverpool Football Club on Saturday the 12th of October. To raise awareness of Brain Injuries and James’ situation.
Unfortunately someone had to do it with him …………. I’m terrified of heights but I’m prepared to take one for the team and have been roped into doing it with him!!
So, please help if you can and donate to this deserving charity.
I know times are tight but every little helps!
Thank you x
