In honor of John and Judy's 10 years of service to Troop 415 and 5 years of service to Pack 415 before that, we wanted to do something in their names that will truly leave a legacy for scouting in Northeast Georgia.
At the Troop's May Court of Honor, we would like to honor John and Judy with a "James E. West Fellowship" recognition. James E. West was the first Chief Executive of the BSA; he agreed to take the job for six months, and ended up retiring 32 years later!
We need to raise $2000 for the Council's Endowment fund to add John and Judy to the list of James E West Fellows. Any additional funds raised will also go to the Council's endowment fund, which is used in part for scholarships for underprivileged scouts to attend summer camp and for college scholarships from the council. John and Judy will receive a recognition plaque at the court of honor. Please let me know if you have any questions.
