James Dzierbun Memorial Fund

My name is Sandra Rencontre. I am the mother of James Dzierbun, whose life was tragically cut short in Cataldi Park on July 13th, 2025. I, in coordination with city council member David Cohen's office, am raising funds for a bench to be placed in Cataldi Park in memory of James. A place of peace where all the members of the Berryessa community can come to remember James's beautiful life. The cost of the bench is $8000. Through donations from the mayor's office, Myself, and Council Member Cohen's office we have reached $3000. I have personally collected another $600 to date, a total of $3600/$8000. I am setting up this fund so that people from the community have a place where they can donate. If we raise more than we need the remaining funds will go toward a donation of books to community libraries as James loved to read. Thank you SO much for your continued support. Your thoughts and prayers have meant so much during this time and have literally lifted me up as I face this new life without the light of my precious child.
