James Dockman and family

On December 23rd, 2022, James Dockman became ill and went to the emergency room, believing he had a stomach bug. After seeing numerous doctors and specialists, it has been confirmed that James has stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has metastasized into his liver. More than ever, James needs the love and support of his friends, family, and community. James is only 39 years old and has a wife Kasie, and a daughter Emma.

James graduated from Red Lion High School in 2002. He was a starting left tackle on two winning Red Lion Football Teams and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Since 2017 James has been employed by York County 911 as a dispatcher, being certified as a police, fire, and EMS dispatcher. Those in the field know that James has become one of the best dispatchers. He treats everyone on the radio as though they are a member of his family. James has spent years looking out for everyone, and now it is time to look out for him. He is heading into the fight of his life and he needs as many of us to show up for him and help him fight, just like he would do for us.
