On August 27, 2022, my Dad, James Crain, lost his home and all of his possessions in the Still Fire off Wolf Road. Thankfully, he escaped unharmed, running from the fire in only his slippers and a pair of shorts. James Crain is a long time Nevada County resident, a retired Peace Officer, Father and Grandfather. He needs all of the support he can get as he begins the heartbreaking process of rebuilding his home and all that was lost. James built his home, lost to the fire, over 40 years ago and has resided there ever since, raising his family through the decades.

My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any assistance you can provide to help James with his immediate needs and the long road ahead as he begins to rebuild.
